Looking for simple ways to support emotion regulation in your preschool or TK classroom? In this two-part event, you’ll learn how to incorporate short and effective wellness strategies into your daily routine to set yourself AND your learners up for success.
The first session focuses on Pure Edge’s START WITH THE HEART curriculum. We share practical strategies for incorporating breathing, mindful movement, and guided rest Brain Breaks into your daily routines.
Session two highlights FLOURISH Moving Storytimes, where learners explore social and emotional themes through movement and story.
Viewers will be prepared to implement Brain Breaks and Moving Storytimes into their preschool and transitional kindergarten classrooms and will have access to all of Pure Edge’s free curriculum resources, including video supports.

Erin Cooney
Director of Curriculum and Instruction & National Trainer
Erin Cooney is Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Pure Edge, Inc. Erin travels around the country teaching simple self-care skills like breathing, mindful movement, and guided rest to students and teachers because she believes that taking care of ourselves is a powerful way to be the change we want to see in the world. She earned a M.Ed. in Human Development and Psychology at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, and a B.A. in English from Gordon College. She has studied yoga at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India, and studied mindfulness for over a decade. Erin lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, Garth, & daughters, Lucy & Mae.
