Learn, Live, and Share

This 4-week series designed for the Delaware Department of Education will involve 45 minutes of online instruction and a 15-minute weekly homework assignment using the Headspace app. The sessions are designed to move your personal practice to the next level. Participants will apply focused awareness to building safe and supportive relationships, strengthening co-regulation with others, and building interaction skills that support social competence and academic success.

Michelle Mitchell

Director of Partnerships & National Trainer

Michelle is Director of Partnerships – East.  Originally from New Jersey, Michelle completed her collegiate studies in Buffalo New York earning a BS in Sports Medicine, Minor in Sports Psychology and a Masters in Counseling & Human Services at Canisius College. While obtaining her undergraduate degree Michelle played soccer. While in graduate school, she served in AmeriCorps Athletes in Service Program which placed her in the City of Buffalo’s Public School system teaching workshops and mentoring students in life skills such as violence prevention and cultural diversity.

Michelle continued her work with students in the public school system in Northern Virginia as a school counselor and co-founder of the nonprofit organization YoKid…Stretch Your Limits and the National Kids Yoga Conference. She also teaches stress management at George Washington University.
